EXPERIENCE MATTERS

As the Judge of County Court at Law #1, Brandy Hallford is charged with handling criminal, family and child protective services cases that affect our community, our children and our families. Judge Hallford has the experience, conservative values and strength to make the hard decisions to keep our community safe, our children safe and administer justice fairly. 

 

Experience

  • Presiding over Child Protective Services' cases, protective orders for victims of family violence and criminal cases

  • Presiding over adoption cases and Williamson County's Annual Adoption Day

  • Extensive law practice in criminal, juvenile, family, civil, Child Protective Services' cases and probate law

  • Licensed by the State Bar of Texas in 1996

  • Former Prosecutor for Williamson County, Dallas County and the Tx Attorney General’s Office

  • Written legal appeals and appeared in front of the Third Court of Appeals

  • Handled thousands of criminal, civil and Child Protective Services' cases as a Prosecutor and private practice

  • Former Criminal Division Chief for the Williamson County Attorney’s Office (worked closely with law enforcement and supervised attorneys and staff)

  • Trained other attorneys, law enforcement, and community groups in the law

  • Trained at the National District Attorney's Association on multiple occasions (by invitation only)
