Brandy Hallford launches campaign for Williamson Co. Judge CCL #1
ROUND ROCK – Today, conservative attorney Brandy Hallford kicked off her campaign for Judge of Williamson County Court at Law #1 in the March 6, 2018, Republican Primary.
“Williamson County residents demand their judges be experienced and impartial,” Hallford said. “The courtroom should be a place where prosecutors and defendants are treated with respect, and cases are heard in an unbiased environment.” She went on to say, “I have the experience, leadership and strength to adjudicate the hard cases that will come before this court and administer justice fairly. That is why I am running for Judge of County Court at Law #1.”
With more than 20 years experience in criminal, family, civil and probate law, Hallford brings a wealth of legal knowledge to the people of Williamson County. She has handled thousands of criminal and civil cases and will bring extensive jury trial experience to the bench.
Hallford served a significant portion of her career as a highly respected prosecutor. She served victims and citizens of Williamson County at the County Attorney’s Office where she was promoted to Criminal Division Chief, working closely with law enforcement, while supervising attorneys and staff. Hallford also gained invaluable experience working under Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott as the First Open Government Prosecutor for The Texas Attorney General's Office.

After serving her community for ten years as a prosecutor, Hallford went into private law practice in Williamson County and continues to do so today. She focuses on representation of abused and neglected children; she is an advocate and caring voice in child protective services cases. Brandy also practices criminal, juvenile, family and probate law.

Hallford graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992, obtaining a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and completed a Juris Doctor at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio.
Hallford’s husband Jerry is a Veteran of the United States Air Force and has proudly served the citizens of Round Rock for more than 22 years as a Police Officer. She and Jerry are the proud parents of four children, and attend Grace Covenant Church.
Hallford concluded, “My father taught me you have to work in the trenches before you can truly understand a job. I followed his advice and gained the experience, insight and knowledge necessary to keep our community safe and administer justice fairly. I look forward to serving you and ask for your support and vote in the 2018 Republican Primary.”
